The Bright Bois of Rome, Artist's Book of Illustrations, 2018.
This series of illustrations was created to document the maintenance workers of Rome, affectionately known to my pals and I as “Bright Bois" in a stab-bound neon orange book.
These workers act as guideposts through the city- like trail markers along a path. Seeing them is comforting because you know the city is being tended to, and that society will continue to function regardless of what happens in our personal lives, as long as we continue to play our small role in it all.
